This week we began our unit on Food & Around the world. We are working on identifying
and verbalizing different foods by going on picnics, painting, playing matching
game. Our class went on an outdoor picnic and read, Handa's Surprise by Eileen Browne, which gives us the opportunity to learn all about fruits! Here are some highlights of the week:

- We set the classroom up as a grocery store and took turns shopping and buying food at the cash register with our money

- Our class did a Fruit Matching Train activity
- This was our first week of taking naps at school, and everyone is doing great!

- Last Saturday was also Sports Day at Ascot! Thank you for all the parents who brought their children to participate in a day of fun and games.
