Week Seven: February 16-20

NB Nursery and the rest of ASCOT had a very busy week, as we celebrated Chinese New Year on the 18th and International Day on the 20th. We had a week packed full of activities related to the New Year, as well as learning about Mexico in preparation for sharing and learning with Miss Cecilia and Miss Sarah's nursery classes. Last week's star of the week was Kiwi, who was selected for being a good listener and starting to love playing and sharing with his classmates. Congratulations, Kiwi!
Thank you, parents for your participation this week! Here are some highlights:


  • We checked out books from the library and worked on library manners

  • We learned about the Mexican holiday, Dia De Los Muertos and made skeletons our of q-tips!

  • We decorated sombreros to wear for International Day

  • Our class loved watching the Chinese New Year program. Everyone looked great dressed up

  • Our class made guacamole for our nursery-wide International Day party
